have you have the necessary experience to locum... the practices that use us tell us exactly what experience they require their locum to have. Generally, this means that you need to have at least 2 years practice experience in an English speaking country. If you haven't got the necessary experience at this stage, we will tell you straight away and offer the best advice we can.

what happens when we find you a locum position... we will confirm with you the start and finish dates of the locum with both yourself and the practice in writing. If you need any advice with regards to self employment issues we will assist as best we can.

how do you go about finding locum work through us... you have a choice. You can look for work on this website first before contacting us. Or you can telephone if you prefer, and talk to someone about your specific requirements. Don't forget of course that we have a fax number too!

Our Requirements

common courtesy... when we register you and then assist you with finding locum work, we fully understand that you may also want to register with other agencies to improve your chances. That's absolutely fine, but please remember that we work very hard to find something that matches your specific requirements. If we tell you of a position that matches your requirements, or you respond to an advert on our website, please let us know if you are considering any other locum positions via other sources. That way we don't waste anyone's time, especially yours!

we need to register you... if you want us to find work for you or you've seen a job on our website we will need to register you. This is a legal requirement. All we require is a current copy of your CV, emailed preferably, faxed or by good old post, together with references/referees. The practices that use us to find locums require references from all Nurses they use.

tell us your specific requirements... this really helps us to help you! Tell us when you will available from and until. Also tell us where in the UK you would prefer to work. If you are a visitor to the UK, tell us if you need accommodation for you and your partner (if applicable), whether you have the right to abode in the UK, have a working holiday visa or you require a Work Permit.
