Owen Tate proved to be a very friendly and personal service, yet still came across as professional at the same time. They were very helpful and I admired their honesty as sometimes you are not always going to be able to get a locum when you need one, but they didn't try to pretend otherwise, unlike other locum agencies. They kept in constant touch by phone and email and were very quick to update me with any news. They had good information about the locum we took on, as well as making sure references were made available. We had an excellent locum vet. I would highly recommend them.

The level of service provided by Owen Tate Ellis is excellent. There is always a friendly and helpful person on the end of the phone. Owen Tate Ellis start the process of finding a locum immediately and keep regular contact updating me on the staffing situation. Two other agencies that I contacted at the same time as Owen Tate Ellis took 7 and 10 days to respond to me with a form setting out terms and conditions. It was only after receiving, signing and returning the forms to them that the agency would start seeking the locum I required. No good to me when I am looking for someone within a few days !! Yes there have been times when OTE has been unable to find a locum, but I am confident that they have done their best promptly and efficiently. Finally, it is important to me to know what is happening and I can rely on OTE to always call me back when they say they will.

We are very happy with the level of service. You have always taken the trouble to keep in touch even if you have nothing at the time. We never need permanent vets as the practice is just husband and wife. What we usually require is a 3 evening a week vet or very occasionally a 2 week locum for holiday cover. Most agencies are not interested in this small level of business. We have had lots contact us over the years, all of whom take details and that is the last we ever hear from them!
